Creamy Caesar Wrap Recipe ⁠

INGREDIENTS⁠

1 block of tempeh or 1 chicken breast ⁠
1 tbsp nutritional yeast ⁠
1 tsp garlic powder ⁠
1 tsp onion powder⁠
Salt and pepper ⁠
2 tbsp olive oil ⁠
2 cups chopped romaine lettuce ⁠
1 tbsp nutritional yeast for topping⁠
3 -4 Unbun tortillas ⁠
1/3 cup Caesar dressing ⁠
2 tbsp vegan or regular parmesan for topping⁠

Crispy Chickpeas ⁠

2 tbsp vegan or non vegan parmesan ⁠
1 cup chickpeas ⁠
1 tsp garlic powder ⁠
1/2 tsp onion powder ⁠
1/2 teaspoon cumin ⁠
Salt and pepper ⁠

DIRECTIONS⁠

1. Start by making the crispy chickpeas. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Drain and rinse chickpeas and dry between two paper towels, removing any loose chickpea skins. Bake the chickpeas with oil and spices on a baking sheet for 15-20 minutes. ⁠

2. Meanwhile, cut the tempeh or chicken breast into strips and season with nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder and salt and pepper. Fry on an oiled pan over medium heat until cooked through. For tempeh, about 3 minutes per side and about 7 minutes per side for the chicken breast. ⁠

3. Meanwhile, toss chopped romaine with Caesar dressing and nutritional yeast. ⁠

4. Remove chickpeas from the oven and tempeh or chicken from the pan. ⁠

5. Arrange your Unbun tortillas with chicken or tempeh, dressed romaine, crispy chickpeas and Parmesan to top. Wrap it up and enjoy!⁠
